Florida Shrimp Cocktail

What you need:

2 oz. bag of prepared shrimp boil
2 tsp. salt
1 Florida onion, sliced
2 qt. water
1 Florida lemon, sliced
1 clove garlic, sliced
2 lb. large Florida shrimp, peeled, tail on
What to do:
1. Combine all ingredients, except shrimp, in a 4-qt. sauce pan. Bring to a boil on high heat. Add shrimp and reduce heat to medium-high. Simmer 6 to 8 min., stirring occasionally, until shrimp turn pink and opaque throughout. Do not overcook.
2. Drain shrimp and cover with ice to chill. Serve in a martini glass or on a flat plate; garnish with parsley and lemon slices. Serve with favorite dipping sauce.
