Florida Picolata Shrimp

What you need:

1 lb. Florida shrimp, peeled and deveined
4 Tbsp. water
3 Tbsp. chile sauce
2 Tbsp. soy sauce
2-1/2 tsp. cornstarch
1 tsp. Florida honey
1/2 tsp. hot pepper sauce
2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
1/2 c. sliced Florida green onions
4 cloves Florida garlic, minced
1 tsp. fresh ginger root
2 c. hot cooked rice
chopped parsley, garnish
What to do:
1. Rinse shrimp; pat dry with paper towels. Set aside.
2. Combine water, chili sauce, soy sauce, cornstarch, honey, and hot pepper sauce. Mix well. Set aside.
3. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add onions, garlic, ginger and shrimp; sauté for 3 min. Stir sauce and pour over shrimp mixture. Cook over medium-heat, stirring constantly, 3 to 4 min. or until shrimp are no longer translucent in the center.
4. Serve over rice; sprinkle with parsley.
