Spiced Halibut Steaks

What you need:

8 oz. halibut steaks (fresh or defrosted)
2 Tbsp. sunflower oil
1 small onion, finely chopped
1 Tbsp. red and green chili pepper, deseeded and thinly sliced
2 Tbsp. curry powder
1/2 tsp. ground cumin
2 Tbsp. lemon juice
salt and black pepper, to taste
Garnish (optional): fresh lemon wedges
What to do:
1. Heat oil in a pan. Add onion, chilies, curry, cumin, salt and pepper and cook 2-3 min. Add lemon juice.
2. Place steaks in a dish and brush with the spice mixture. Cover and leave to marinate in refrigerator 1-2 hrs.
3. Preheat grill. Place steaks on a grill pan and cook under a moderate to hot grill for 10-12 min, turning once. Brush with the remaining marinade.
4. Serve hot with a selection of vegetables such as new potatoes and green beans. Garnish with lemon wedges.
